IR system is a system consisting of an infrared receiver andtransmitter that allows the generation of a synchronism signalevery time the target defined by the position of the transmitter iscrossed.It is thus possible to identify，with an accuracy of 1/100 of asecond，the exact position of the finish line both for our dataacquisition systems (if you do not want to use the GPS signal) andfor other devices with synchronization input such asdashboards.Ducati of 749／999 and 1098.By connecting the IR-system to the appropriate input of your Ducati749-999-1098-1198 or to your Translogic dashboard it will bepossible to see the times performed on your dashboard and，in thecase of the Ducati 1098S，to have a synchronism signal to be able toread more easily the data acquired from its data acquisition.IR system is made in two models，AMP and TRL.The two models are distinguished by the power supply，the outputsignal and the receiver connector.The AMP receiver is in fact compatible with the Ducati749／999／1098／1198 instrumentation，is powered at 12V，and generates a0-12V signal whenever it is hit by the turret signal and isequipped with a three-pole AMP connector.The TRL receiver，on the other hand，is equipped with a Molexconnector and an inverted output to be compatible with Translogicsystems.Both models are equipped with a \"dead time\" of 30 seconds in whichthe receiver，after receiving a signal from the transmittingturret，remains insensitive to any other signals it may pick up inorder to avoid multiple clicks due to the presence of severalturrets on the wall box.
